Mova – This upscale night club is known for its quality drinks, music and entertainment. The establishment has recently taken steps to become more eco-friendly. Located at 1435 P. Street NW, Mova is open from 5 p.m. to 1:45 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 p.m. to 2:45 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Hawk 'n' Dove – Known as DC's oldest Irish bar, this establishment offers a laid-back atmosphere that's affordable for the non-Washington elite to frequent. Located at 329 Pennsylvania Avenue SE, Hawk 'n' Dove is open 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Bullfeathers of Capitol Hill – Since 1980, this bar has been serving food and drinks to members of Congress and others. Happy hour here is every day from 5 to 8 p.m., and the bar's open from 11:15 a.m. to midnight Monday through Saturday. Located at 410 1st Street SE.

Veritas Wine Bar – If you're looking for world-class wine, beer and spirits, this is the place for you. Located at 2031 Florida Avenue NW, Veritas Wine Bar's happy hour is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

Rhino Bar & Pumphouse – Located in the heart of Georgetown, this sports bar is a great place to check out regionally and nationally broadcasted games. Rhino's address is 3295 M Street NW and it's open Monday through Thursday 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., Friday 5 p.m. to 3 a.m., Saturday noon to 3 a.m., and Sunday noon to 2 a.m.
